A good friend of mine, Fr. Bob, asked me why I title so many of my posts "MY RELIGION." It isn't a long story, I promise. I once fell madly "in like" with a young woman. All was comfortable with us, except the elephant in the room. I was and am Anglican. She offered to read several of my favorite books on my faith. We finally talked. She was very upset, or so I thought. She said, "Well, that is certainly not MY RELIGION!" No it was mine, and I wasn't leaving it. We comfortably parted. She married shortly there after. I felt on social media I should make my post very clear that what I tell about my faith is MY RELIGION, and that I am not trying to push. I am just sharing. Please understand that MY RELIGION is the historic Anglican faith, believed by most Anglicans world wide. I am an Anglican priest. Also know that I have no expectation that you believe what I believe, or that you convert. Blessings!
